Thank you for signing up for the Ocean Wise Shoreline Cleanup. We have received the following information from your municipality:

Prior to your cleanup, please send the permit request form (Beach-Park_Improvement_Form.pdf) to PARKSVOL@pbc.gov to ensure there are no conflicts with your chosen date, time and location.

Once the cleanup has been cleared, the volunteer division will send you the permit and the data and roster form. Please send the data and roster form back to PARKSVOL@pbc.gov after your cleanup for record.

Beach cleanup projects on weekdays, weekends and holidays will only be permitted during low-capacity hours from sunrise until 11:00 a.m. and from 4:00p.m. to sunset.

Please note: Due to crowd control and parking limitations at beaches during high volume season (Memorial Day thru Labor Day), cleanups must be completed by 10:00 a.m.

Group leaders must provide a logistical plan for keeping cleanup participants hydrated and safe from sun exposure. We encourage all participants to bring reusable water bottles rather than single-use.

All cleanup participants are strongly encouraged to wear gloves during cleanups.

Cleanup groups are encouraged to use their own cleaning supplies such as grabbers and buckets. In the event equipment is loaned out to cleanup groups, Volunteer Services staff will disinfect cleaning supplies returned by the group leaders the same day they are received.

Group leaders borrowing equipment must schedule a time with Volunteer Services to pick up and return the cleanup supplies at the John Prince Park Administration building. When returning equipment, you must deliver the equipment to someone, do not leave the supplies outside the building. Please utilize park dumpster to dispose of collected litter and debris.

Parking (events scheduled at South Inlet and R.G. Kreusler):

O Weekend beach cleanups shall be issued a max of three (3) parking passes forthe specific time frame and be encouraged to car pool.

O Weekday beach cleanups shall be issued a max of twelve (12) parking passesfor the specific time frame and still be encouraged to car pool.

O Parking passes shall be valid for one date and less than a three-hour durationduring the low capacity hours from sunrise until 10:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.
