Treaty 7 Territory Land Acknowledgements: In the spirit of truth and reconciliation, we honour and acknowledge Moh’kinsstis and the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Stoney Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who live, work and play in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta. This sacred gathering place provides us with an opportunity to engage in and demonstrate leadership in reconciliation. The City of Calgary has asked that you check the City of Calgary Pathway Closure website to ensure the area is accessible. Please obey all signage and fencing. The City of Calgary’s TLC (The Litter Cleanup) kit program will provide your group with all of the necessary supplies for your cleanup and can be picked up for free at various locations throughout Calgary. Please visit www.calgary.ca/tlckits for locations and information.

After the cleanup please place full bags beside existing garbage bins, if possible, or group bags together and place them one meter off a paved asphalt pathway and report their location by calling: 3-1-1. Share photos of your cleanup using the hashtag #yyccleans.
